Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Staff Forum

At its launch, the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Forum announced its intention to support the best interests of BAME members and help the Trust in playing its part in building a sustainable, better future for all.

The GOSH BAME Forum is supported by its Executive Sponsor and Chief Nurse Alison Robertson, 

Members of the BAME Forum Executive Team are:

  • Co-Vice Chair - Nouruja Rahman
  • Forum Secretary - Mani Randhawa 
  • Social Lead - Danielle Johnson

The Forum is open to anyone who has a vested interest in the development of BAME staff and willing to play a part in the drive for change.

Future plans

The Forum calendar of events voted by its members will include:

  • Social – Participation in Celebration/Social Events
  • Educational – BAME interviewing skills including role play 
  • Development – Career advice and development opportunities, including mentorship
  • Communication – Annual event showcasing BAME achievements both within GOSH and further afield
  • Leadership – Empowerment of Forum members to Speak Up and Drive Change
  • Networking – Drop-in Sessions in the Lagoon
