We have the following current vacancies for medical and dental consultants at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Part Time Locum Respiratory Consultant in Paediatric Sleep Medicine (5PAs)

Applications are invited for the above post based at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust, to start as soon as possible for a period of six months initially.

You will possess a CCST in Paediatrics and join the sleep and chronic ventilation support service at Great Ormond Street Hospital. There is no on-call commitment currently attached to this post. You will provide assistance in the running of the service together with the lead respiratory consultant in sleep medicine and liaising closely with the other medical, nursing and technical members of the sleep team. You will assist in meeting sleep study targets and quality control and provide clinical input to patients requiring non invasive chronic ventilatory support.

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust is a postgraduate teaching hospital, linked with the Institute of Child Health (ICH). The Trust has 368 beds and provides a comprehensive range of paediatric specialties for tertiary level care. The patient population consists of over 20,000 inpatients per annum and 84,000 outpatients.

All applicants must either be on the General Medical Council's specialist register or be within six months of obtaining their CCST/CCT award at the time of application.

The basic salary range for this post is £74,504-£100,446 (pay award pending) pro rata, per annum plus £2,162 pro rata, per annum London Weighting.
