Coming into hospital doesn’t mean missing out on your schoolwork or exams.
At Great Ormond Street Hospital we have a schoolroom with specialist teachers who can help you with your own schoolwork, teach lessons in a range of subjects, or give you advice on how to manage your studies while you are here.
Our teachers can also make links with your home school or college so that you don’t miss out on what’s happening there. We can even arrange for you to take your exams in hospital if necessary.
We believe that education is essential to your well-being. So, using the latest technology including iPads and interactive whiteboards, we want to ensure that you get all the support you need so you can keep up with your work.
If you know when you are coming in, please remember to bring some of your school books and coursework with you, and let your home school know that you will be away.
