The children and young people on Kingfisher Ward are international and private patients.
You may come to Kingfisher Ward for the day, or you may stay for one night or more.
Kingfisher Ward has 18 beds.

Kingfisher Ward is mainly run by our team of nurses.

Conditions we treat
Lots of different tests are carried out on Kingfisher Ward, including blood and hormone tests, and tests on suspected or known endocrine, metabolic, renal, neurology, dermatology, rheumatology, gastroenterology or urology disorders.
Facilities for children and young people
Kingfisher Ward has a playroom with lots of toys, games and crafts.
There is a play specialist who organises activities and can help you get ready for any procedures you may have in hospital.
You can also use the Activity Centre on the ground floor of the Southwood Building, which has an outdoor area and a dedicated room (the Den) for teenagers.
