Keyhole surgery

A type of operation where, instead of having a large scar, you have several tiny ones instead.

Kidneys

You usually have two of these, under your ribcage at the back. Their job is to filter waste stuff from your blood and turn it into urine (wee).

Knee

Your thighbone meets your shinbone at your knee. It’s a hinge joint, which means it can move up and down. The joint is covered by your knee cap (also called your patella).

Kyphosis

This is the medical word for curvature of the spin from front to back.
