UCLPartners
UCLPartners is
one of five accredited academic health science systems in the UK. Its
purpose is to translate cutting edge research and innovation into
measurable health gain for patients and populations – in London, across
the UK, and globally.
Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is one of the founding partners together with University College London and three other major teaching hospitals: Royal Free Hampstead, Moorfields Eye Hospital and University College London Hospitals.
UCLPartners is concentrating on seven major health themes. One of these is child health and its programme director is Professor David Goldblatt.
Professor David Goldblatt is Professor of Vaccinology and Immunology and Head of the Immunobiology Unit at the UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH), as well as a Consultant Paediatric Immunologist at GOSH. He is also the Director of Clinical Research and Development for the joint Institution and Director of its affiliated National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Specialist Biomedical Research Centre.
