GOSH Family Arts week: Wheelchairs and legs of 4 unidentified people with blue string on floor, Sept 2017

The Third Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Family Arts Week took place from the 24 — 28 October, programed by GOSH Arts and the Activity Centre and open to all patients, siblings and families. The very busy schedule included daily workshops, performances and wandering popups which took place throughout the hospital.

Our theme ‘Energy and Movement’ inspired dance workshops from Candoco Dance Company and Peut Etre Theatre; performances from In The Bellows and Moxie Brawl and workshops led by artists from The Drawing Circus, the National Portrait Gallery and more.

Patients, parents and siblings also helped to raise money for the arts programme by participating in Make to Donate with the Poundshop. Participants decorated clocks and pen pots, especially designed for the Poundshop by designer Will Smith, and then donated them to be sold for charity – all the pots and clocks can be viewed and bought online here.
