Abigail Atterbury

Abigail Atterbury

Abigail qualified as a paediatric nurse in 2007 after training at GOSH and started her career on Rainforest Ward caring for children with endocrine, metabolic and gastroenterology conditions.

Abigail really enjoyed looking after patients with endocrine conditions so when a 6 month secondment to the endocrine clinical nurse specialist team came up in 2010, she took the opportunity to further her knowledge and skills in the area – and has remained in the team ever since!

Her passion is looking after children and young people with septo-optic dysplasia and Hypopituitarism.

In her spare time, Abigail enjoys spending time with her young son, and looking after her family’s many animals.
