Research and publications from the Urology department

The main direction of the work is focused on understanding the developmental processes, which lead to urological abnormalities and on improving the outcomes for children who need to undergo surgery for complex urological disorders. Our work centres on a number of research areas. These include:

  • antenatal hydronephrosis

  • posterior urethral valves

  • urodynamics

  • vesicoureteric reflux
