Tim Liversedge

Timothy Liversedge, Anaesthesia Consultant
Tim Liversedge is a consultant paediatric anaesthetist and has worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital since 2011.

Dr Liversedge is an instructor on paediatric anaesthesia courses for doctors in training. He has a special interest in the use of medical simulators for teaching and training. 

Specialisms

Dr Liversedge is interested in all aspects of general paediatric anaesthesia with a special emphasis on pre-assessment, anaesthesia for interventional radiology, plastic surgery and general surgery.

Dr Liversedge undertook undergraduate training at the University of Leeds Medical School, qualifying in 2000 with a degree in anatomy in addition to his medical qualification. After medical posts in Leeds and London, he completed his general anaesthetic training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and at other hospitals in London and the south east.

Research Interests

Dr Liversedge is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the UCL Institute of Child Health, and has published a number of review articles. He is interested in improving quality and safety in anaesthesia.
