Somers Clinical Research Facility (CRF)

The Somers CRF provides specialist day care accommodation for children and young people taking part in clinical research studies. This state of the art, purpose built facility is available to all GOSH/ICH staff undertaking clinical research, in particular early phase and experimental medicine trials.

We are grateful to Mrs Somers and the JN Somers Charitable Wills Trust for their generous support, as well as the Friends of Great Ormond Street Hospital who kindly provided the capital costs for this development.

The successful Specialist Biomedical Research Centre grant from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) provides the revenue costs.
