Clinics and wards used by the Tracheal services team

The treatment or investigations your child is scheduled to have will determine which ward you will visit. These may include:

• Bear Ward (cardiac low and high dependency unit)

• Peter Pan Ward (ear, nose and throat (ENT))
• Puffin Ward (same day pre-admission unit)
• Badger Ward (respiratory)
• Walrus Ward (clinical investigations)
• Flamingo Ward (cardiac intensive care)

Similarly, depending on the nature of the follow-up or clinic assessment your child requires, they may be seen in the following clinics:

• thoracic clinic
• ENT clinic
• respiratory clinic
• cardiology clinic
• speech and language clinic (including voice clinic)
