New Chief Financial Officer joins the Trust

Loretta Seamer, an experienced financial leader, will take up the post of Chief Financial Officer at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children Foundation Trust from 1 April.Ms Seamer brings more than 30 years’ experience in executive leadership, consulting and financial management roles across various sectors to the role including 13 years in the hospital and health sector. 

Most recently she was Chief Financial Officer at Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service in Brisbane, Australia. This large and diverse healthcare organisation encompasses: The Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital; The Child and Youth Community Health Service; The Child and Youth Mental  Health Service ; Specialist paediatric outreach and telehealth services reaching communities across Queensland; and paediatric education and research.

Welcoming Ms Seamer, Dr Peter Steer, Chief Executive Officer, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children Foundation Trust, said: “I am delighted that a leader of Loretta’s calibre has been appointed to this important role.

Ms Seamer will start at GOSH on 1 April 2016
