Race for the Kids

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity is encouraging everyone to take part in the RBC Race for the Kids 5k fun run on Sunday 12th June 2011.

Held in London’s Battersea Park, the event is open to people of all ages and abilities to walk, jog or run the race. Money raised from the event will help fund the essential redevelopment of Great Ormond Street Hospital and make a difference to the thousands of sick children who are treated at the Hospital every year.

On the day, participants can expect to mingle with celebrities and take part in exciting activities such as arts and crafts, face painting and inflatable games.

Entry to the event is now open and supporters are encouraged to visit www.raceforthekids.co.uk  to sign up or contact the charity’s fundraising team on 020 7239 3164 or email raceforthekids@gosh.org.  Everyone who takes part will receive an exclusive medal, goody bag and a specially designed t-shirt.
