Ofsted report recognises ‘good progress overall’ to safeguard children in Haringey

23 February 2010

Dr Jane Collins, chief executive, Great Ormond Street Hospital, said: “We are pleased to be able to demonstrate progress in the service reflected by the findings of this independent Ofsted report.  We have worked closely with partner organisations over the last two years to achieve this.

“Staff have worked really hard and shown great commitment to safeguarding children in Haringey.  However, we are not complacent and recognise there are still improvements that can be made to make the service even better for our families and children.   This very important work will continue to be a top priority for us.”
