UK’s first Chair in Palliative Care for Children and Young People to be based at Great Ormond Street Hospital

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust (GOSH) is delighted to announce the UK’s first Chair in Palliative Care for Children and Young People will be based at the hospital.                                                                           

The Chair will be called the True Colours Chair of Palliative Care for Children and Young People.  The True Colours Trust is one of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts, and it is hoped that the creation of the Chair will act as a catalyst, drawing on the significant expertise around the country, and building on the commitment to make high quality paediatric palliative care universally accessible.

GOSH is an acknowledged centre of excellence in the provision of paediatric palliative care.
