Lindsay Shaw

Dr Lindsay Shaw is a Consultant Paediatric Dermatologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). 

She has worked as a Consultant Dermatologist in Bristol since 2008 and joined the team at GOSH in 2013.

Specialisms

Diagnosis and management of childhood skin problems including:

  • acute skin rashes and infections
  • acne
  • eczema and psoriasis
  • moles and other skin lesions
  • haemangiomas
  • genetic skin disease
  • birth marks including laser treatment 

Areas of special interest:

  • Connective tissue diseases affecting the skin, particularly morphoea (localised scleroderma).

  • CST Dermatology 2008 

The first paediatric dermatologist in the UK to be dually accredited in both paediatrics and dermatology. Training in Bristol, Melbourne and GOSH.

  • Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health
  • British Society for Paediatric Dermatology
  • European Society for Paediatric Dermatology 

Research interests

  • morphoea
  • vascular malformations and overgrowth syndromes
  • eczema
