Joshua is currently a third year Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Trainee on a professional doctorate jointly run by the British Psychotherapy Foundation and the Anna Freud Centre/University College London. He is a trainee member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists.
Joshua’s research interests include: the application of psychoanalysis in qualitative research; the researcher’s use of self as a data source; psychoanalytic approaches to anorexia. For three years he worked as a qualitative interviewer on a large-scale study on the influence of therapy on depression in adolescence.
Joshua has published peer reviewed journal articles on a variety of topics, in psychoanalytic and qualitative research journals.
