The Mildred Creak Unit (MCU) is an intensive intervention 10 place (7 inpatient and 3 day places) unit admitting children from seven to 15 years of age with a range of mental health problems such as eating disorders, somatising disorders and other emotional and behavioural disorders. The unit is named after Great Ormond Street Hospital's (GOSH) first consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist, Mildred Creak.
