Anna Hurley

Dr Anna Hurley is a Clinical Psychologist who has been working in the Social Communication Disorders Clinic at Great Ormond Street Hospital since 2013. Prior to this, Dr Hurley worked as a Specialist Clinical Psychologist in Child Development and Paediatric Psychology services in Kensington and Chelsea.

She specialises in:

  • Assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorders and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Cognitive assessment, including assessment of learning, attentional and executive difficulties
  • Assessment and treatment of emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression, anger issues, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Assessment and management of feeding difficulties

Qualifications

  • Post-graduate diploma in paediatric neuropsychology (University College London, currently training)
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (University College London)
  • Masters degree by research in Clinical Neuropsychology (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland)
  • BA Hons in Applied Psychology (University College Cork)
