Tuberculosis

Tuberculosis is an infectious lung condition caused by bacteria. It is spread by cough from an infected person, but you have to be in close, regular and prolonged contact to catch it. It leads to a persistent cough that brings up mucus and sometimes blood from the windpipe and lungs.
