Neuronal migration disorder

The term ‘neuronal migration disorder’ actually describes a group of problems that affect the brain.

These conditions happen during the very early stages of brain development – so a baby is born with a neuronal migration disorder.   

They are thought to be very rare, although the exact incidence is not known.
