Dyslexia

Dyslexia is a specific learning problem that mainly affects the way a child’s literacy and language skills develop.

Spelling is usually the most obvious difficulty. Children will often recognise individual letters but have trouble getting them in the right order.

As well as visual dyslexia, many children experience an auditory form of the condition making it hard for them to recognise different sounds, hold information in their short-term memory and to process language at speed.
