Depression

Depression is an overwhelming feeling of hopelessness, sadness or lack of self-worth. It is not an occasional feeling, but is there most of the time. It can prevent a person leading a normal life. Children may experience depression as, for example, a result of bullying, family breakdown or the loss of a loved one.
