Welcome to the homepage of the Nephrology Department at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The unit provides a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient service for children with kidney disease, including acute and chronic kidney disease.

The unit has special expertise in the investigation and management of children with nephrotic syndrome, haemolytic-uraemic syndrome, hypertension, vasculitis, tubular disorders and infants, young children and adolescents with severe chronic kidney disease (dialysis or transplantation).
