Coming to GOSH

We know that hospital can seem confusing at first and we will do everything we can to make it easier for you.

This section of the website is a brief guide to what you can expect when you come to GOSH and what facilities are available here. There is also information about how to get a referral to GOSH.

If you need any extra information before you come to GOSH, please ring the number on your appointment or admission letter or ask a member of staff. If there's anything else you need to know while you're at the hospital, please ask one of the nursing team or visit the Pals office, which is situated in the main reception.

I hope you find this website useful,

Demolition works

We are currently undertaking demolition works as part of the hospital's redevelopment programme. They are necessary to clear the site so that a new state of the art 8 storey clinical building can be built. While this work is taking place some disruptions will occur.

The redevelopment newsletter on the right hand side of this page explains current disruptions and is updated every two weeks.
