5th European Echocardiography Course on Congenital Heart DiseaseThe 5th European Echocardiography Course in Congenital Heart Disease will be organised in London, from Wednesday 6th to Saturday 9th October 2010. This course is endorsed by the Imaging Working Group of the Association of European Paediatric Cardiology (AEPC) in collaboration with the European Association of Echocardiography and Working Group of Grown-up Congenital Heart Disease of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). The course will provide both theoretical and practical review of echocardiographic techniques used in the current era, including Tissue Doppler Imaging, speckle tracking in both 2D and 3D echocardiography and real time 3D echocardiography. For the first time, there will be three parallel hands-on sessions on: transthoracic live scanning with patients, transoesophageal scanning with simulators and 3D datasets postprocessing. As in the previous courses, a forum of distinguished speakers and appreciated teachers from all over Europe and overseas will share their experience with the audience. PLEASE NOTE: This conference is now fully booked; if you wish to be added to the waiting list, please e-mail your name and contact details to info@ichevents.com entering 'Waiting list ECHO Oct. 2010' in the subject field'Dates: 6 – 9 October 2010 Who should attend? This four day course is intended for cardiologists, paediatric cardiologists, anesthesiologists, cardiac surgeons and sonographers.
