The Activity Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and University College Hospital (UCH) is for children, young people and families to enjoy play, fun, learning and leisure.
The Activity Centre is for inpatients, outpatients and siblings of all ages and abilities, from 0-19 years old.
We offer a welcoming recreational space with educational and fun toys, games and lots of arts and crafts resources. We also have a selection of IT equipment and plenty of books and DVDs too.
PLEASE NOTE: Summer 2015 temporary closure of the Activity Centre
Important hospital redevelopment works mean that we will have to close the School and Activity Centre during the school summer holidays from Thursday, 16 July 2015 to Tuesday,1 September 2015.
Unfortunately, the closure of these areas will have a significant impact on our ability to provide school summer holiday activities for patients and siblings. We’re really sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.
We are planning some family activities in the Lagoon during the last two weeks of July. You can download the latest timetables below or take a look at our noticeboards when you come into hospital.
