Safari Day Care is a daycare and outpatient
centre for children with blood disorders, cancers and leukaemias,
immunology diseases, and bone marrow transplants (BMT).
Children and young people come to Safari Day Care for a
clinic appointment, medications, tests or procedures and go home the
same day.
Safari Day Care has 19 beds.
Staff on the ward
Safari Day Care is mainly run by our team of nurses, who work closely with the doctors to help you get better.
Other staff who work on the ward include healthcare assistants, play specialists and housekeeping staff.
