The Respiratory Sleep Unit has four beds and is located on Level 5 of the Southwood Building.
Children come here if they need sleep studies to see if they have any problems with their breathing and their sleep.
Staff on the unit
The unit is staffed by people who specialise in sleep medicine. They are called respiratory clinical physiologists.
Before the sleep study, one of the respiratory registrars will come to see you to check you are well enough to have the study. You might also see either the sleep consultant or sleep fellow in the morning after your study.
Other members of the team you might meet include our play specialist, health care assistants, plus administration staff.
