Facilities for children and young people

Peter Pan Ward has a playroom with lots of toys, games and crafts.

There is a play specialist who organises activities and can help you get ready for any procedures you may have in hospital.

You can also use the Centre on the ground floor of the Southwood Building, which has an outdoor area and a dedicated room (the Den) for teenagers.

If you are well enough, you can have lessons at the hospital school, which is on the ground floor of the Southwood Building, next to the Centre.

If you are not well enough to go to school, teachers can also come to Peter Pan Ward and give you lessons at the bedside.
