Penguin Ward is for children and young people with dermatology (skin) or rheumatology (joint and muscle) problems.
Penguin Ward has nine beds for patients staying overnight (inpatients) and also treats patients who come in for the day (ambulatory daycare).
Patients on Penguin Ward range from newborn to 16 years old.
Staff on the ward
Penguin Ward is mainly run by our team of nurses, who work closely with the doctors to help you get better.
Other staff who work on the ward include physiotherapists, healthcare assistants, play specialists, psychologists, occupational therapists, dieticians and housekeeping staff.
