Dinosaur Ward is where children and young people come before having an operation.
After their operation, children are taken back to another ward to get better.
Children and young people can also come to Dinosaur Ward after an operation or investigation and have a wound review, dressing change or stitches removed.
Staff on the ward
Dinosaur Ward is mainly run by our team of nurses, who work closely with the doctors to help you get better.
Other staff who work on the ward include healthcare assistants, play specialists and housekeeping staff.

Dinosaur Ward has lots of toys, games and crafts.
There is a play specialist who organises activities and can help you get ready for any procedures you may have in hospital.
