Caterpillar Outpatients is an outpatient department for children and young people with a wide range of conditions.
The children and young people on Caterpillar Outpatients are international and private patients.
Staff in the department
Caterpillar Outpatients is mainly run by our team of nurses, who work closely with the doctors to help you get better.
Other staff who work on the ward include healthcare assistants, play specialists and housekeeping staff.

Facilities for children and young people
Caterpillar Outpatients has a playroom with lots of toys, games and crafts.
There is a play specialist who organises activities and can help you get ready for any procedures you may have in hospital.
You can also use the Activity Centre on the ground floor of the Southwood Building, which has an outdoor area and a dedicated room (the Den) for teenagers.
