My leg fracture by Daniel, 8  

Hi! I’ll tell you about when I fractured my leg.

It was so painful before I arrived at the hospital. I fell from a 12-foot wall and I had a serious fracture to my left leg. I stayed four weeks at hospital because I had surgery two times. I was so angry the first days but the other days I made lots of new friends.

The nurses are very friendly and the doctors too. Sometimes when I cried with the pain of my leg the doctors made me laugh with funny jokes.

My stay in hospital is not too bad. My dad and my mum were with me all the time and they hugged me. I returned to school with my cast and my crutches and my teacher helped me. I got three metal pieces (don't remember the medical name) in my bone.

I will be walking and running and playing sports in about four months. Bye buddies!!!!!
