Hello friends, I want to tell you about my broken leg.
Two weeks ago I was playing with my friends at school, the grass was wet and we were running to know who was the fastest. When I was running, I slipped on the grass and my leg twisted under me, I heard a pop sound and fell to the ground.
Painful leg
My leg was hurting a lot, my friends helped me to get up and I tried to walk but the pain was horrible and I fell again. The school doctor saw my leg and called and ambulance.
In the hospital, doctors made X-rays of my leg and said that my leg was broken near the ankle. They splinted my leg and gave me medicines.
Cast
Two days later I returned for a cast. When they were putting the cast I cried because of pain but later I fell asleep and went home.
At home I slept in the recliner because I was uncomfortable with the cast. The next day I went to the school for half a day but that day was horrible, and I called for my parents. The next three days I was at home.
Crutches
I'm still with the case. It is a big cast – it goes from my toes to my thigh. I chose blue and I'm walking with crutches now. My friends help me carrying my stuff and the people always help me with doors, chairs or everything.
Doctor says that I have to be in the cast for the next month, then he will put my leg in a boot so I can walk and remove it to take baths. My leg does not hurt anymore and that's good.
Second time
This is the second time I'm in a cast. When I was seven I fell from stairs and broke my arm and elbow. In the hospital, doctors put metal pieces in my elbow and I was some time with the cast.
Later, they removed the metal pieces and now I have a scar in my elbow. I had to learn to write with my other hand, I'm left handed but I can write with my right hand too!
Now I'm wearing a sock over my leg cast. It is orange and I think its colour matches the cast colour. Now that I'm with the cast, I spend more time playing with my brother. He's four and we play hide and seek. Goodbye buddies!
