GO Create! arts programme

Our GO Create! arts programme at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) makes a vital contribution to the healing environment and hospital experience we provide for patients, visitors and staff.

We aim to create relaxing, engaging and child-friendly surroundings and support creativity and learning through:

  • site-specific commissioned artworks
  • creative residencies
  • workshops
  • music and performances
  • culture club for staff
  • exhibitions

GO Create! was founded in 2005 and since then has become widely recognised within the Trust and beyond.

The programme has been cited as an example of best practice in the European policy glossary 'Learning for Well-being: A Policy Priority for Children and Youth in Europe' as well as receiving a special commendation from the Royal Society for Public Health to recognise the quality and innovation of the programme and it's contribution to the field of arts and health.
