Clinical outcomes

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) always aims to provide the best possible care. To help us monitor the quality of our services, we measure what we do and how we do it. This is presented in our Quality Account.

One aim of the Quality Account is to make sure our clinical outcomes keep us among the world’s top five children’s hospitals.

A clinical outcome is the “change in the health of an individual, group of people or population which is attributable to an intervention or series of interventions”.*
